21-Day Challenge, Day 3 Continued
Interesting how when I walked by the new Asian restaurant, The smell of fried food made me sick. I prepared myself with meals for my workday (and sent meals along with my sweetie to work as well!). Later in the evening even after the delicious bowl of homemade Pho, The delicious smells the Banccroft and Telegraph we're screaming at me! Thankfully my only purchase was the damn fee to take money out of a different ATM!
8 ounces aloe vera juice
Black coffee
Meal 1
Two hard boiled eggs
Celery sticks
Cherry tomatoes
(it was enough to get me out the door while preparing other meals and doing house chores)
Meal 2
Homemade Pho
Meal 3
Vegetarian Ba Bim Bop (spelled correctly?)
It's basically Jasmine rice cooked in a rice cooker with a couple tablespoons of coconut oil.
Salad with hard-boiled egg.
All in one bowl! Usually it's made with grilled meat or chicken or seafood.
Probably not enough food. Eating clean along with consuming water and getting in lots of steps is feeling much better after today.

Busy life, good nutrition and good laughs!
A day in the life. Busy. Well thought out and organized! Tonight: Bison...It's What's For Dinner. A bit lean and tastes close to beef. Even just knowing I was eating "bison" made that first mouthful seem weird, but it was good! I added some ghee when I was cooking it up. My favorite fast beef fix is ground beef (bison, etc.), diced organic onions, diced organic zucchini, organic garlic and organic canned fire-roasted diced tomatoes, fresh coarse celtic sea salt and pepper. Mmmm served with basmati rice.
The organic, gluten free cuisine is going great these days. It's amazing how good I feel generally. The integrity of food (one of my favorite lines) these days is just not the same as it was many years ago. The extra money for organic is definitely worth it. Good think I can cook!
The laughs...it's important to laugh! Get nutty and have some fun. More to come!

Time to Turn Up the Heat
It's definitely time to turn up the heat before the heat turns up on us, like it did this weekend! Tank top weather and Summer clothes are just around the bend.
Just do it! Coming up with a plan before the beginning of the week is key. Find those "windows" of time unless you already have a workout/activity schedule and fill 'em up with a trip to the gym or phone your buddy and make a date of it so you can count on each other! Get your workouts in and your body will thank you later.
